Seven Years since my last official blog post.
We have so much to catch up on.
I have grown in incredibly beautiful & hard ways since 2018. Let’s be honest, 2020 was a rough year. It changed the lives and paths for everyone in both small & big ways.
I could say it was a hard year; but then again, every year has hard parts. Valleys. Dark rooms & quiet tears. Loss. Heartache.
But every year has mountains too. And while we don’t realize the mountains at first….7 years goes by and you look back and see the valleys below all the mountains you had to climb. And you climbed them ALL.
The mountains. The wins. The success. The love. The life and memories. The happy. The thankful. The realization that life moves so fast and we have to make the absolute most of every day & every night.
I graduated high school 20 years ago this May.
My plan was to go to school and work for NASA. I wanted a family and a home and the ideal American dream we all want when we set out in life.
My plan did not work out the way I wanted. And as the years have passed, I realize that my plan would have had me miss out on the life I have been blessed to live up to this point. Are there things I wish I would have done differently? ABSOLUTELY. However, my heart is so full, and I can truly say this path was worth the obstacles and sacrifices.
I am an Aunt. A dog mama. A daughter. A sister. A best friend. A photographer. I am so much more than the valleys that I faced and so are you friend.
I have been so busy in life, love, and work that I wanted to take this moment to pause and reflect on it since we spoke last.
I have traveled. So many adventures and Ireland was by far the most incredible place I have ever seen.
I have lost. A best friend to cancer. A dog that fought a hard battle against Epilepsy.
I have won.
I have smiled and I have cried.
For some of the behind the scenes the last 7 years I have highlight reels over on my Instagram.
And despite all the “life”, I have continued to create some of my best work, memories, and moments.
And I want you to do the same.
I am continuously growing & learning. And I love knowing some of the best days of this life haven’t happened yet. What a blessing it is to grow old and do what you love. Never give up on that.
🤘🏻 let’s keep in touch more ok?
Xoxo
